The July 4th Holiday in Peachtree City is a huge celebration. Beginning at 9am on the southern end of Peachtree Parkway, a Fourth of July parade with floats, bands, acrobats, and plenty of candy and giveaways will fill the sides of the streets with spectators. The parade route travels NORTH on Peachtree Parkway and ends at the McIntosh Trail Complex approximately 2 hours later. Prizes are also awarded to the best decorated golf cart. Later in the day, there is a large outdoor festival called Fourth Fest with music, food, and games at City Hall plaza. Fourth Fest precedes the massive fireworks display over Lake Peachtree to complete the evening. Contact the Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Center for more specific details on how to enjoy The Fourth of July in Peachtree City.
