October 4-7, 2018 will mark the return of the Women in Horror Film Festival (WIHFF) to historic Peachtree City, Georgia! The film festival, a breakout hit this year with Heather Langenkamp, the Soska Sisters, and Amanda Wyss among others in attendance, will take place at the newly remodeled Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center just a few short miles away from Pinewood Stuidos, home of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”.
VIPs, press, filmmakers, and celebrity guests will walk the Dead Carpet for a special opening night party to kick off the four day weekend which will include workshops and panels covering a range of topics and demonstrations of the latest filmmaking technology. WIHFF will also welcome a host of vendors and industry insiders eager to meet with fans and show off their wares.
The weekend will culminate in the highly anticipated awards ceremony where the Lizzie Awards will be front and center. The awards, created by sculptor Karl Libecap, will be handed out with two new awards added to the line-up.
