Every November, on the first Saturday, The Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts a Georgia Craft Beer Festival. It’s an intimate tasting experience of the best craft beers that Georgia breweries have to offer! “It’s no surprise that this event sells out quickly every year!” says Nikki Tyler, Marketing Manager, CVB. Set in the Dixie Wing Aircraft Museum, the festival also helps bring awareness to one of the only places that you can see, touch, and ride in a vintage WWII aircraft. The partnership between the CVB and the Dixie Wing Commemorative Air Force has been very positive for both groups.
This year, the festival has expanded to include more beers and more tickets sold. Breweries attending are: Jailhouse, Omaha, Abide, Monday Night, Wild Leap, Jekyll, Reformation, and Southern Brewing. Over 35 different varieties will be available. Live music is provided by The Band FLUX. They are an 80’s rock band hailing from Atlanta.
