Every November, on the first Saturday, The Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts a Georgia Craft Beer Festival. It’s an intimate tasting experience of the best craft beers that Georgia breweries have to offer! “It’s no surprise that this event sells out quickly every year!” says Jennifer Johnson, CVB Executive Director. Set in the Dixie Wing Aircraft Museum, the festival also helps bring awareness to one of the only places that you can see, touch, and ride in a vintage WWII aircraft. The partnership between the CVB and the Dixie Wing Commemorative Air Force has been very positive for both groups.
This year, the festival has expanded to include more beers and more tickets sold. We’ve also added ciders to this year’s event! Breweries attending are: Jailhouse, Omaha, Abide, Monday Night, Wild Leap, Jekyll, Reformation, and Southern Brewing. Over 35 different varieties will be available. Live music is provided by The Francisco Vidal Band. They are an acoustic, rock/pop power trio, hailing from Atlanta and will light your rock and roll fire. Fronted by Atlanta guitarist/singer/songwriter Francisco Vidal, FVB fills venues with loyal fans–old and new. He fuses virtuosic skill and poise on guitar, with strong, memorable vocals and tireless enthusiasm for live performance. His unique brand of feel-good rock will have you singing along with him at the top of your lungs.
If you missed your chance to get tickets, don’t worry, the Hops & Props Beer Fest will return in 2018 on November third.
