Begin with your golf cart rental at one of our five dealerships. Peachtree City's allure is its 100-mile network of multi-use paths. At 15 mph, you can go from neighborhood to shopping and dining centers, hotels, and parks along winding paths by lakes, greenspaces, and playgrounds, through a tunnel, over bridges, and within wooded scenery. The multi-use path system is also ideal for runners, walkers, and cyclists.
Shopping, check! Peachtree City has five distinct shopping villages throughout the city, each supported by a retail center.
When you head out for holiday shopping, start with a healthy breakfast in one of the restaurants at The Avenue Peachtree City, a shopping center featuring boutiques and national retailers. The 100+ dining spots present world-class cuisine showcasing the finest in French, Mediterranean, South African, Italian, Mexican and, of course, traditional Southern foods and drinks.
Have you tried the fried green tomatoes at Palmer’s? The restaurant is known for this exquisite Southern dish topped with pimiento cheese, candied bacon jam, and red pepper coulis. Pair this experience with reservations to see “where the movies live” on the Southern Hollywood Film Tour. The 1991 movie Fried Green Tomatoes is high on the list! The tour takes you through the towns and sets made famous on film, including the 2017 Spiderman-Homecoming movie, and acclaimed television series such as The Walking Dead.
One of your 12 Days of Christmas could embrace golf with friends. Peachtree City’s three championship golf courses include Flat Creek Country Club, Planterra Ridge Golf Club, or Braelinn Golf Club.
Or if aviation is more your thing, check out flying in a WWII aircraft at Dixie Wing WWII Aircraft Museum. The museum is currently under renovation, but you can take off to the skies! Reserve a Living History Flight Experience in one of the War Birds, a chance to reconnect with aircraft of the past in a way that very few people have experienced.
Kedron Village makes a great next stop in the heart of Peachtree City. National favorites are here: Panera Bread and Bed Bath & Beyond, in addition to local eateries and boutiques, such as Mt. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, where you can balance chopsticks to savor the Dynamite Sushi Roll with salmon, avocado, and crab deep fried and drizzled with creamy wasabi.
Pull the golf cart over to the Aberdeen Shopping Center where Peachtree City Farmers Market opens every Saturday and Wednesday morning. Find the freshest herbs, vegetables, meats, prepared foods, cheeses, and more, while live, local entertainment makes shopping a pleasure.
