Summertime Live Music. Great Food. Arts + Culture, Too!

The nights are on this summer in Peachtree City. Where are you pointing your golf cart when the sun begins to set? We have a few starlit ideas for you for these warm and balmy summer evenings.

The Fred’s capacity is 2,500 seats, but you’ll want to reserve in advance for shows in the open-sky Frederick C. Brown Amphitheater. Check out ZOSO—The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience with Guardians of the Jukebox (July 23), Boz Scaggs (July 30), and Five for Fighting & The Verve Pipe (August 6). Pub-style food is available, including pizza, chicken tenders, burgers, fries, cheddar nachos and popcorn and pretzels. Cocktails, wine and beer, and sodas and water are available for purchase.

Summer campers with The Georgia Singers Theater Company are rehearsing a full-length musical. These kids, ages 10 to 22, are producing and performing the SpongeBob Musical. Get tickets for the July 22 Opening Night Performance at 7:00 pm, and July 23 performances at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. It’s a great family way to have fun, while supporting the nonprofit that is dedicated to the mission of building character in youth through quality theatre arts education and musical productions.


Drake Field has been our gathering spot for passive recreation and organically produced events and festivals since Peachtree City was founded mid-20th century. Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events Department produces the free, monthly summer concert series Sunset Sounds. Atlanta Vice takes the stage at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 29. They host a retro party when they perform, replaying the hits of glam rock, pop rock, new wave, the 80s and more. Beer and wine for purchase, and food vendors will be onsite.

Instead of do-it-yourself, let’s do-it-together. Board and Brush Creative Studio workshops offer inspiring DIY experiences for people who love to create, connect, and make new friends. Are you looking for a night out infused with arts and culture? Is your inner DIY itching for a fun new project without having to buy all your own supplies and make a mess at your house? Beer and wine are available for purchase in the studio.

Save the date for our city’s fabulous monthly Night Market on Friday, August 19 at 5:00 pm. Night Market is an evening event created primarily for those 18 and over. And just announced, the beer garden cover charge is gone! Inspired by vibrant outdoor markets popular throughout Europe and Asia, night markets are social outdoor events where food, retail, and educational vendors offer a variety of local street foods, arts and crafts and fun after the sun. Local vendors including Enzo, The Curious Pig, TapTruck, Ace Beer Growlers and many others will be onsite, with live music.
