Happy 65th Anniversary to the City of Peachtree City! As we celebrate the founding of our nation on Independence Day, our community also celebrates the beginning of our fabulous city designed with golf cart pathways that provide a more eco-friendly and fun way to get from here to there.

  • Rent a golf cart or a bicycle and explore the 100 miles of pathways that wind over bridges, through tunnels, and around lakes, parks, and playgrounds. Beat the traffic and connect to shopping, dining, resort-style hotel/conference centers, golf, and other recreation.

The City’s July 4th Parade kicks off Independence Day celebrations at 9 am. Meet along any of the viewing points: the parade begins on South Peachtree Parkway in front of Village of the Green and travels north on Peachtree Parkway before turning left onto McIntosh Trail. The parade ends at the McIntosh Trail Complex. Watch fireworks over Lake Peachtree post-sunset.

Fun + Food
This July, check out who’s performing at The Fred – our 2,500-seat amphitheater that is about as lovely as outdoor venues get in Atlanta (maybe the best, but we’re biased 😊).

  • July 13 – Rumours ATL – A Fleetwood Mac Tribute
  • July 20 – Air Supply
  • July 27 – YES Epics & Classics, featuring Jon Anderson

Food Truck Thursday is hosted monthly by Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events. Join the next savory Thursday event on August 1 from 11 am to 2 pm at Drake Field (no July event due to parade).

Visit Peachtree City’s full events calendar for more fun and itineraries. Come shop, dine, stay in one of our beautiful and comfortable hotels. You’ll want to come back, and we hope you do return again, and again.
