No cars are required here. It’s why Peachtree City is so much fun! You cruise around on more than 100 miles of multi-use paths at 15 miles per hour and pull over when you feel like it. The paved multi-path system is also ideal for runners, walkers and cyclists. Check out cart and bike rentals. The Fred

When you hear locals talk about The Fred, they’re referring to the open-sky Frederick C. Brown Amphitheater and concerts under the stars. The best part about The Fred is that you feel the energy of everyone gathering, but it’s limited to 2,500 seats. It’s biggie-small in an energetic concert way. This June, purchase tickets in advance to see Ann Wilson of Heart (June 11), Star Wars: The Music of John Williams by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (June 18), and Whole World Improv: Comedy and Cocktails (June 25).

Begin your shopping adventures at the Peachtree City Visitor Center Gift Shop. Shout out that you have visited and stayed here with branded Peachtree City-themed apparel, home décor, custom jewelry and sculptural pieces handcrafted by Peachtree City artisans. Beyond, you can motor to and through five distinct villages here and each is supported by its own retail center.

Picnics in Historic Spots

Bring a picnic and spread out on the lawn at Tinsley Mill Ruins. Imagine 100 years ago how the mill was powered by Flat Creek to make corn meal. The mill burned long ago, but remains of it remind us of yesteryear, and it is a peaceful place to play and relax today. You may recognize the location from its appearance in the movie Sweet Home Alabama.

Built in 1907, the Starr's Mill site held a cotton gin and produced electricity for the nearby town of Senoia. Today it’s owned by the Fayette County Water System and is open year-round as a gathering place for people on its 16 peaceful acres. Picnic goodies can be picked straight from the Peachtree City Farmers Market, open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 to 1. In the shade of trees and wide-open space, farmers and artisans gather and everyone connects with the common goal of friendship, food, and sustainable living.

Spirited Summer

Celebrate summer’s longest days with cheers and cuisine representing world cultures, right here at home. Peachtree City’s own brewery, the Line Creek Brewing Company, beckons its guests with delicious pints of handcrafted beers to be enjoyed outdoors, with live music, or inside the taproom to watch a game. Food trucks included.

Tavern on 74 bar and grill hosts weekend parties with DJs and local bands. And the Tavern stokes a creative side with its monthly Canvas By U class. Grinds and Wines offers local and traditional favorites with an extensive list of wines and craft beers. Grazing Here is a cool live music joint that takes farm to fork very seriously. Partnering with small farms, the restaurant ensures that their meats for the signature burger and other menu items are responsibly and ethically raised.
