Two tour companies have expert guides who can show you around: Southern Hollywood Film Tour and Georgia Tour Company.
Georgia Tour Company presents The Touring Dead Walking Tour
Georgia Tour Company will bring you to the set locations from Season 3 to the present Season, along with tour guide insider stories about Seasons 1 and 2. Your cosplaying guides have been on set as extras and/or they are living and working here in town and view the action as it happens.
Kiersten Place is a tour guide with Georgia Tour Company. “You’re in Woodbury right now,” Kiersten tells her guests. “And some of them have no idea that Senoia is this place!” Guests see 52 different locations that focus on The Walking Dead and include other iconic film and television sites.
“I have to see the movie before I can find the location,” says Sherri, who combines clues, her local knowledge and industry contacts to share behind-the-scenes stories about productions, movie stars, and how Georgia got to be “The Hollywood of the South”.
Visit Peachtree City’s website for tour reservations and contact information. Coming with a larger group? Ask about step-on tours or customized options.
