February is the month of greeting cards and candy hearts, flower arrangements, chocolates, and dinner dates. If you’re planning a visit to Peachtree City in February, we have a symbols game for you. What’s cool about this is that love, and friendship, can be celebrated every day of the year.
I Spy Something Red and Delicious!
Food brings people together. The color red may come in the form of:
- Chili oil and pickled ginger in your poké bowl at Island Fin Poké Co.
- A glass of Septima Malbec at Grinds and Wines, serving up local food and good times
- A lightly battered Tempura Cheesecake with whipped cream and strawberry sauce at KOBE Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
- Beaded candy frosting on a cake pop at City Sweets
There is a Big Heart Here.
- The Peachtree City Market offers locally grown and handmade foods made with love (artichoke hearts anyone?). Open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Aberdeen Village Shopping Center.
- Hearts ‘n Homes Rescue is dedicated to housing and rehabilitating dogs and puppies most at risk in Peachtree City. The nonprofit rescue works to find approved adopters and foster care parents. These adoptable dogs are waiting for someone to love – will that be you?
- Consider the Kindest Heart bouquet by Peachtree Florist – one of many styled bouquets for any season. This bouquet holds red carnations, red miniature carnations, white daisy sprays chrysanthemum, baby’s breath and leatherleaf fern.
