A Day for Young Entrepreneurs



Kids Business Day is coming to Peachtree City for its 9th annual event! This market event is more than your typical lemonade stand – it’s a movement! Make plans to join us as our young aspiring entrepreneurs showcase their most creative (and profitable!) business ideas for the community.

Kids Business Day will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1 – 4 PM at Shakerag Knoll in Peachtree City (192 McIntosh Trail, next to The Fred and BMX Track). All young entrepreneurs ages 7-14 are welcome to participate and set up their businesses, and the local community is invited to come and support this unique and inspiring event.

The founders, Andy and Ashlee Ilg, created this event to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. As parents and business owners themselves, they are passionate about giving real-life opportunities for children, and even the parents, to see the exciting and rewarding journey of business ownership.

“We love seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they realize they created something that others see value in. And when they are surrounded by other children experiencing the same excitement, it’s an electric environment,” said Andy, who has a personal story of being an aerospace engineer-turned-entrepreneur.

Young entrepreneurs at previous Kids’ Business Days have sold unique artwork, delicious snacks and baked goods, handmade jewelry, and everything in between. Cash rewards and certificates are awarded to the top businesses in categories including Most Creative, Best Display and Most Enthusiastic. Andy and Ashlee look forward to awarding this year’s winners and celebrating the efforts of everyone who attends.
